Update no. 4 Part 2

Hello Parents,

So obviously a lot has happened since last week. The biggest thing was my organization’s auction. I spent most of my time from Wednesday to Saturday at my internship. That mostly consumed most of my time and energy but it was a very successful endeavor. My artwork got sold on the very first round – which means that it was wanted and paid for in full price. I met with a lot of really great artists and gallery people. And I have gotten more responsibility at my internship. They trusted me enough to wrap up the live auction pieces. I have to say it’s been pretty tiring. That’s why the posts have been late.

So there’s not much happening this week. I just got my tuxedo from the chorus and it looks amazing. However, there are a few alterations that need to be done. I’m going back to my internship on Wednesday and we’re probably going to be doing a lot of follow up work from the auction. I also have this very big school project that’s due by the end of the week. It involves interviewing a bunch of people. So I’m not sure if I am able to go to Santa Rosa this week. I’ll probably have to go back next week so I can get a transcript to send to SVA.

My first concert is coming up so I will have to be practicing a lot soon and prepare with other stuff. I’m not sure what but they did say that next week will be busy. I guess I have some free time now on my hands so I will schedule that BLS thing before Sunday.

Thanks for the $100 I got last week from Dad. I think that will last me until I go back to Santa Rosa. The frame cost $30 and I got a proper portfolio presentation for $30 as well.

Well, like I said, I will head back to Santa Rosa and I will mail my application there as soon as I get my transcript. I will also need to go to a tailor because my suit needs a couple of alterations. I just need the sleeves shortened and the pants hemmed so it’s not a big deal. I will tell you more about it on Thursday or Friday as to what my schedule will be like for the next week.

D’ken
