Update no. 16

Hello Parents,

So now I am done with the EKG course. What now? Well, now it's time to study for the accreditation exams. I have to to study for but they're by all means not required for me to start looking for work here in San Francisco. My teacher did tell me to look for volunteer positions in hospitals nearby before I actually get employed. His recommendation is 100 hours, which is really not much at all. However, I will have to wait for my certificate to come in the mail before I can start applying. In the meantime though, I do have a reviewer for one of the accreditation exams and I will start working on that as I'm waiting for my certificate.

There's quite a lot happening in the chorus. Like I said, I'm learning music for 3 different concerts - our first one happening in less than a month. I just finished retreat, which was really great. We sung Single Ladies a whole lot. But now it's crunch time so I will have to spend a lot of time listening to rehearsal files and memorizing music.

As for my own personal work, I had to put it on hold for a while because of retreat but I'm slowly coming back into my groove. I am going to get a lot of more public work because the chorus is slowly using me more and more to design for them. I will also might have to design some stuff for my internship. If I get more responsibility in regards towards something that I'll be able to use later on, I will stay with the internship for as long as I can.

Thank you for all your help so I could go to retreat this weekend. I do want you to know that when I took my final that weekend, I got a perfect score, despite being in retreat. I would need $100 for food/allowance for as soon as you can send it.
I know the plan for what is happening next isn't as clear as it can be and I do need a little more time figuring it out. I will give it a lot more thought and will give you guys a much clearer picture of what needs to happen in the next couple of months.

D'ken
