Update no. 7

Hello Parents,

So we actually had our first concert on Monday night. It was sort of a sneak preview into our holiday concert for the chorus’ biggest donors. It was lots of fun I just didn’t know it was going to be an actual concert. My first out of town concert is at Modesto this Saturday. It’s going to be an all day event.

I have started reading the BLS book. I haven’t been able to do much of it because I was at my internship but I will have time tomorrow to devote to only BLS.

Speaking of my internship, we are moving to a new location this week, which is why I’ll be involved with them more than the usual.


I went out and saw two movies this week that I got from the extra money mom sent. The first was an amazing documentary about Advertising and the Creative People that work in it. It’s called Art & Copy. I smiled throughout the whole movie. It was just simply beautiful. To be honest, it doesn’t really show you the whole picture about advertising but it’s a good look at what happens when the art director and the copywriter collaborate beautifully.


The second movie I saw was a dark comedy about the New York Artists. It’s not really a movie that everyone is going to like. I would pretty much say that it’s a bad movie. But I loved it because I got all the little jokes that were in it.

Thanks again for the rent money and for the extra money to get books (and watch these movies). Dad is also going to (please!) reimburse me for the bus pass. I also came from the tailor and I will be able to pick my tuxedo up from them on Friday. That together with the pass is going to be around $160.

I’m sorry for the short posts this week – I’m really tired. I won’t really be able to produce any real results until later in the week after the concert and the move in my internship. But they will all get done within this week!
